Intense triangular fight among key parties
This by-election has shaped into a three-cornered fight between the Congress, BRS, and BJP. Each party ran a high-voltage campaign over the past few weeks, seeking to strengthen its position in Hyderabad politics. Consequently, voters have shown strong enthusiasm in this contest.
Polling will continue until 6 pm, and a total of 4,01,365 registered voters are expected to cast their votes. Furthermore, officials have set up 407 polling stations across the constituency to ensure a smooth and secure process.
Drone surveillance and real-time monitoring
For the first time, the Election Commission introduced drone surveillance to monitor the entire polling process. Drones are tracking activities at 139 sensitive locations, while webcasting provides live updates from key polling booths. Additionally, security personnel are maintaining a close watch to prevent any disturbances.
The counting of votes will take place on November 14, and the results will decide the political balance in one of Hyderabad’s most prominent constituencies.
