Jesus Christ’s message promotes peace and service: Uttam Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad: Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday said that the teachings of Jesus Christ continue to inspire many with his message of peace. These teachings promote peace, compassion, and social reform worldwide.

Speaking at a Christmas celebration held at St. Joseph’s CCR School in Kodad town, the minister emphasized that Jesus was not only a spiritual leader but also a profound social reformer. He joined students in cutting a ceremonial cake. The minister also extended festive greetings.

Christmas reminds us of love, unity, and compassion

Reddy told the gathering that Christmas serves as more than a festival. It is a reminder of love, harmony, and mutual support. “Jesus taught us to live with kindness and help those in need,” he said. He urged people to show mercy, humility, and a spirit of service in their daily lives.

He added that the true message of Christmas lies in comforting the distressed and supporting those in need, not just in celebration. “This festival should light up our hearts with new hope,” he said.

The event saw participation from several prominent individuals. These included former MLA Venepalli Chander Rao, PCC delegate Chintakuntla Lakshminarayana Reddy, district library chairman Vangaveeti Ramarao, and former DCCB chairman Muthavarapu Pandurangarao. It also included former sarpanch Erneni Venkataratnambabu, Sister Nakshatram, and headmistress Jyothi.
