Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education decided to send hall tickets for the 2026 Intermediate Public Examinations directly to parents’ WhatsApp numbers.
The Board took this decision to improve transparency and increase parental awareness during examinations. As a result, parents will receive a downloadable preview of hall tickets for Intermediate First Year and Second Year students, said the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education.
Parents of first-year students can download the preview hall tickets by entering the SSC roll number and date of birth. Similarly, parents of Second-Year students can access the preview using their first-year hall ticket number and date of birth.
Hall tickets to display marks and the exam schedule
For Second-Year students, the preview hall tickets will display first-year marks for passed subjects. Additionally, they will include details of failed subjects. The Board also added the complete examination schedule so parents can track exam dates clearly.
Meanwhile, the Board asked parents to verify all details printed on the hall tickets. These include subjects, medium, group, photograph, signature, and personal information. If parents notice errors, they must immediately inform the concerned College Principal, the District Intermediate Education Officer or the nodal officer of the respective district.
The Intermediate Practical Examinations will take place from February 2 to February 21, 2026. First-year students will appear for the English Practical on February 21. Meanwhile, Second Year students will write the same paper on February 22. The Ethics and Human Values examination for backlog students will follow on February 23. Subsequently, the Environmental Education examination will be held on February 24.
According to the Board, most parents use smartphones. Therefore, WhatsApp delivery of hall tickets will ensure timely access to examination information. Moreover, the system will improve coordination among colleges, students, and district officials.
