Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday announced a new round of IAS officer transfers and Full Additional Charge (FAC) postings to address administrative needs. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued the official orders.
Key IAS transfers and postings
Sabyasachi Ghosh, formerly Special Chief Secretary to the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department, will now serve as Special Chief Secretary for the Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Developmental Schemes Unit. He will also retain FAC responsibility for the Welfare Department.
Anita Ramachandran, currently Secretary to the Women, Children, Persons with Disabilities, and Older Persons Department, has been assigned FAC of Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department and Commissioner, Tribal Welfare. She replaces Ghosh in these roles.
Ilambarithi K., previously Secretary to the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development Department, has taken over as Commissioner of Transport. This appointment relieves M. Raghunandan Rao from the FAC. Ilambarithi will additionally hold FAC of Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary, K. Ramakrishna Rao, will retain the FAC for Secretary, Metropolitan Area and Urban Development Department.
New FAC roles and realignments
E. Sridhar, Secretary of the BC Welfare Department, has received FAC of Secretary (Poll.), General Administration Department. This follows the voluntary retirement of Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, effective October 31.
Sk. Yasmeen Basha, Director of Horticulture and Sericulture, has been appointed FAC of Managing Director, TG OILFED, replacing J. Shankaraiah.
G. Jitender Reddy, earlier CEO of Zilla Parishad, Adilabad, will now serve as Special Commissioner, Scheduled Castes Development. He also assumes charge as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation Ltd. This move relieves N. Kshitija from her FAC duties in the post.
Lastly, B. Saidulu, Secretary of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, has been placed in FAC of Special Secretary (Implementation Welfare and Developmental Schemes Unit).
