Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a Hyderabad Traffic advisory announcing traffic diversions for the Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam and Rathotsavam on July 21 and 22, 2026.
Police said a large number of devotees are expected to attend the celebrations at Yellamma Devasthanam in Balkampet. Therefore, traffic restrictions will remain in force around the temple to facilitate the smooth movement of pilgrims and the conduct of the religious events.
Motorists have been advised to plan their travel in advance and use alternate routes wherever possible. Traffic personnel will remain deployed along the affected stretches to regulate vehicle movement and assist commuters.

The Traffic Police requested the public to follow the instructions of officers deployed on the route throughout the festival period. In addition, commuters were asked to cooperate with traffic personnel to minimise congestion.
The advisory has been issued in view of the expected increase in pedestrian and vehicle movement during the Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam and Rathotsavam. Officials said the measures are intended to ensure public safety and the smooth conduct of the festivities.
