Hyderabad prepares for Messi as GOAT Tour-2025 promoters review Uppal stadium

Hyderabad: Argentine legendary football player Lionel Messi will arrive in the city as part of the GOAT Tour-2025, and preparations gained pace on Tuesday as the tour promoters inspected arrangements at Uppal Stadium. Officials said the team reviewed key facilities and coordinated with local authorities to finalise logistics for his December 13 appearance.

The delegation included GOAT Tour India chief Parvathi Reddy, chief promoter Datta, international tour advisor and Messi’s personal manager Christopher Flannery, Pablo Negre and other organisers. Coordination committee member Rohin Reddy also joined the inspection. During the visit, the promoters unveiled the jerseys that Messi will wear during the tour.

Uppal Stadium prepares for the GOAT Tour-2025 events

Messi will travel across India under the GOAT Tour-2025, and Hyderabad is one of the major stops. A show linked to the tour will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will attend the friendly exhibition match on December 13. He recently practised for the event and will play in the RR 9 jersey. His long-standing interest in football is well known.

Organisers also shared Messi’s India schedule for the four-day tour. He will reach Kolkata on December 13 at 10:30 a.m. for an appearance at Salt Lake Stadium. Later that evening, he will arrive in Hyderabad at 7 p.m. On December 14, he will travel to Mumbai for a programme at Wankhede Stadium at 5:30 p.m. The tour will end in Delhi on December 15 with a visit to Arun Jaitley Stadium at 1 p.m.
