Drunk driving checks intensified ahead of the New Year

The Police Commissioner said Hyderabad police had taken strong measures to prevent any untoward incidents during the New Year celebrations. He stated that a special enforcement drive was underway across the city and would continue until the night of December 31.

Sajjanar said police had deployed seven additional platoons for the drive. Teams were conducting intensive checks at 120 locations across the Hyderabad Commissionerate limits.
