Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) Additional Managing Director B. Ajith Reddy reviewed Hyderabad Metro operations during a visit to the Uppal Metro Depot on Tuesday. He assessed operational systems, maintenance practices and safety measures across the metro network.
Ajith Reddy inspected the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and the Command Control Centre (CCC). Officials briefed him on real-time train operations, signalling systems, security surveillance, emergency response mechanisms and overall network management.

Meanwhile, the Additional Managing Director held a review meeting with senior officials of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRHL), the Keolis team and HMRL. The teams presented details on train operations, passenger services, maintenance systems, operational control, depot facilities, safety protocols and the financial aspects of metro operations.
Further, Ajith Reddy visited the Maintenance Workshop and the Wheel Lathe Workshop to review maintenance practices for rolling stock and other critical infrastructure. He appreciated the maintenance standards and operational efficiency maintained by the teams.
Senior HMRL officials, including Chief Electrical Engineer D.V.S. Raju, Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer S.K. Das, Chief Project Manager Anand Mohan, Chief Engineer (FAC) Sayapa Reddy and General Manager (Security) Srinath Reddy, attended the inspection.
