Harish Rao targets Revanth Reddy in Dubbak civic poll campaign

Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS deputy floor leader T. Harish Rao launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during a municipal poll campaign in Dubbak, accusing him of dodging visits to Medak district and failing to deliver on key promises.

Speaking at a campaign event, Harish Rao claimed that Revanth Reddy has avoided Medak because he fears being questioned by the people over unfulfilled guarantees. “There’s no fogging in municipalities, only fraud. No schemes, just scams,” he said.

Harish Rao targets Revanth on failed promises, civic neglect

He ridiculed the Congress government as a “do-nothing” regime over the last two-and-a-half years. Harish Rao alleged that while essential services like water and housing remain patchy, Revanth’s administration has been riddled with corruption.

“He promised Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, crop bonuses, scooters, gold. Not one promise has been fulfilled,” he said. Rao also mocked the Mahalakshmi bus scheme, saying, “Free ride for the wife, double fare for the husband.”

Revanth’s attacks won’t fill stomachs, says Harish Rao

Harish Rao slammed Revanth’s daily criticism of KCR and BRS leaders. “Every morning, he either attacks KCR, me, or KTR’s English. But does that feed anyone?” he asked.

He likened Revanth to coal that can’t turn white even if washed with milk, implying that no education or foreign training could clean his abusive language. “People must teach him a lesson in the polling booth,” Rao said.

He ended his speech with a call to ensure a strong victory for BRS in Dubbak, declaring that the pink flag must fly high across the constituency.
