Harish Rao slams Congress government over PJTSAU exam paper leak

Hyderabad: BRS leader T. Harish Rao attacked the Congress government over the exam paper leak at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, accusing it of incompetence, corruption, and failure in exam conduct.

In a post on X, Harish Rao said the incident exposed the government’s inability to conduct examinations properly. He said the leak clearly showed administrative weakness and corruption.

Referring to recent events, he said the state had not yet forgotten the postgraduate medical exam scam. Despite that, he said, the government now allowed another scandal in BSc Agriculture exams.

Paper leak shows collapse of exam system, says Harish Rao

Harish Rao alleged that miscreants leaked question papers in advance through WhatsApp. He said candidates wrote exams using AI pens, calling it a “modern scam” that shocked Telangana.

Questioning the government, he asked what Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was doing while students’ futures suffered. He accused the Congress government of remaining silent despite repeated irregularities.

He said the Congress government came to power promising change. However, he added, it turned into a government of scams within two years.

Harish Rao alleged that the administration allowed corruption to enter even educational institutions. He said this reflected poor governance and failed leadership.

Demanding action, he asked the government to immediately punish officials involved in exam irregularities. He also called for strict safeguards to prevent such incidents in the future.

Harish Rao said the BRS would continue to pressure the government until it ensured accountability and protected students’ interests.
