Hyderabad: BRS senior leader and MLA T. Harish Rao on Tuesday described the Telangana High Court’s verdict on Group-1 petitions as a “slap in the face” to the state government.
He alleged that the exams were conducted in a flawed manner, playing with the lives of aspirants. “Because of the government’s negligence, unemployed youth are suffering. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy must at least now open his eyes and apologise to Telangana’s youth,” Harish Rao said.
Harish Rao attacks Congress government
The former minister accused the government of irregularities in Group-1 evaluation, exam centre allocation, hall ticket issuance, and results. “Today’s High Court verdict exposing these irregularities is a tight slap to the Congress government,” he remarked.
He questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on how he would respond to the court’s findings. “You rushed the exams, committed irregularities, and now students and job aspirants are paying the price,” he charged.
Harish Rao further said the Congress government lacked the ability to conduct examinations properly. “Holding exams and giving jobs is not about provoking students and playing petty politics. Revanth Reddy, bow your head in shame for your negligent and deceptive approach, and apologise to the youth of Telangana,” he said.
