Harish Rao moved to tears by young student’s story at Siddipet school event

HYDERABAD: Senior BRS leader and former minister T. Harish Rao became emotional during a school event in Siddipet after listening to the heartfelt story of a young student. The incident took place during an awareness programme focused on students’ future, where Rao attended in his capacity as the local MLA.

A Class 5 student named Satvika moved the audience to tears when she shared her personal journey. “My name is Satvika, and I came here because of my mother. When I was in Class 2, my father passed away. Since then, my mother has raised me alone. Sometimes I get angry with her for no reason, but from now on, I will take care of her and make her proud,” she said, breaking down in tears.

Harish Rao, deeply touched by the young girl’s words, called her to his side and consoled her. He sat with her for a while, offering comfort and encouragement.

Later, addressing the gathering, Harish Rao emphasised the importance of recognising and valuing the sacrifices made by parents. He called on the audience to support and encourage children who express such maturity and gratitude. He said that children like Satvika, who understand their parents’ efforts at a young age, should be appreciated and guided to realise their full potential
