Governor advises Group-I probationary officers on public service

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Monday interacted with Group-I probationary officers undergoing training at the Dr MCR HRD Institute and advised them to serve people with integrity and dedication.

The interaction took place at Lok Bhavan, where 44 probationary Deputy Collectors attended the programme under the leadership of Vice Chairman and Managing Director Dr Shanti Kumari.

The Governor congratulated the young officers and conveyed his best wishes for their future careers. He also interacted individually with the probationers and appreciated their commitment towards public service.

Addressing the officers, the Governor said public service was not merely a position of authority but a responsibility towards society and the nation.

Group-I probationary officers asked to uphold integrity

The Governor told the officers that they carried the responsibility of serving people with compassion, integrity and dedication as future administrative leaders.

He expressed confidence that their commitment and sincerity would contribute significantly to good governance and the overall development of Telangana.

Officials said the interaction focused on encouraging young officers to maintain ethical standards and people-centric administration during their careers in public service.

Dr Shanti Kumari and senior officials of the institute also participated in the programme held at Lok Bhavan.
