Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan on Tuesday felicitated GHMC retiring employees who completed their service at the end of June 2026. A total of 35 employees from various departments retired after serving the civic body and the residents of Hyderabad.
The retiring employees represented the Engineering, Public Health, Urban Community Development, Revenue, Sanitation, Horticulture, Town Planning and Administration departments.

Addressing the gathering, Karnan appreciated the employees for their commitment, sincerity and contribution to strengthening civic administration. He said their efforts had helped improve public services across Hyderabad.
The Commissioner thanked the retirees for their dedicated service and wished them a healthy, happy and prosperous retired life. He also encouraged them to cherish their achievements and continue contributing to society in different capacities after retirement.
