Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy has promised faster civic works and better security in areas under the Osmania University Police Station limits. These efforts come in response to ongoing OU PS civic issues that need to be addressed.
OU PS Circle Inspector Appala Naidu and TTUC State President Mothe Shoban Reddy met the Deputy Mayor on Friday. They raised long-pending civic problems in Pahariguda and nearby areas. These include damaged roads, non-working streetlights, poor sanitation, and lack of drinking water.
OU PS civic issues get attention and CCTV boost
The Inspector said the police station regularly receives complaints. However, poor civic infrastructure makes it difficult to respond quickly.
To improve security, he requested more CCTV cameras in key areas. The Deputy Mayor agreed to allocate a special budget for this purpose.
Officials said her support would help speed up civic works. They also expect better public safety and quicker action on local complaints.
