Gachibowli hotel raid uncovers alleged prostitution racket

Hyderabad: The Gachibowli hotel raid led police to an alleged prostitution racket involving three foreign women at the Dream Pride Hotel. Gachibowli police and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit jointly conducted the operation after receiving specific information.

Police detained the alleged organiser Nikhil, Ramamohan Reddy and a customer identified as Harshith Singhania. They also detained three foreign women allegedly involved in prostitution.

During the operation, police seized 23 used condoms and ₹13,000 in cash from the premises. Officers also seized two mobile phones from Ramamohan Reddy, police said.

Police identified Nikhil as the main organiser and said he came from Delhi. According to the police, the organisers accommodated the women in separate rooms at the Dream Pride Hotel in Gachibowli.

Police identified all three foreign women as nationals of Uzbekistan. The women had passports and valid visas, according to the police.

Investigators found that the three women had arrived in Hyderabad from Uzbekistan a few days before the raid. Police are examining their movements and the circumstances surrounding their stay in the city.

The Gachibowli hotel raid followed information about alleged prostitution activities at the hotel. Police then coordinated with the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and conducted the operation.

Gachibowli Inspector Saidulu said police registered a case and launched a detailed investigation. Officers are continuing to examine the circumstances of the alleged racket and the roles of those detained.
