Nallamala safari services resume after three-month break

Hyderabad: Nallamala safari services resumed on Thursday, October 1, after a three-month break. Amrabad Divisional Forest Officer Yash Prakash Singhal launched the services at Farahabad junction along with Mandal Forest Range Officer Savita.

Forest officials said the Amrabad Tiger Reserve currently has 42 adult tigers. Tourists can book safari services through both online and offline facilities.

Officials have also arranged basic amenities for visitors at Farahabad and U-Paint areas. These facilities include washrooms and drinking water.

The Nallamala safari services offer tourists an opportunity to experience the forest landscape and enjoy its natural surroundings. Officials said visitors must follow all forest department regulations during their trips.

Tourists cannot light fires or smoke inside the forest. The department has also banned plastic use in the forest area.

Meanwhile, forest officials urged tourists to carry back the plastic and other waste they bring into the forest. They asked visitors not to leave any waste inside the reserve.

During safari trips, tourists must follow instructions from forest staff. Officials said these measures would help prevent disturbance to wildlife during the safari.

The forest department launched the services from Farahabad junction after the three-month break. Forest officials, staff members and forest watchers attended the reopening programme.

The Nallamala safari services will continue with online and offline booking options. Tourists can use the available facilities at Farahabad and U-Paint while following the department’s regulations.
