Food e-Fair 2025 opens in Hyderabad to boost F&B innovation

Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu on Friday opened the Food e-Fair 2025 at HITEX. He said the event strengthens Hyderabad’s role as a future hub for food innovation and sustainable agri-based industries.

At the launch, the minister stated that the government aims to build a robust, innovation-focused food ecosystem. He highlighted key areas such as food processing, entrepreneurship, technology adoption, and market growth.

Food e-Fair 2025 brings India’s F&B industry together

Organisers explained that the fair gathers retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, food processors, chefs, tech innovators, startups, and buyers on one stage. This edition includes a new feature the Food e-Fair Culinary Corner. It offers live cooking demos by top chefs, curated tasting sessions, and displays of regional cuisines.

The event seeks to close gaps in food business and market access. It promotes emerging trends, technologies, and growth opportunities. Running until November 16, the fair includes B2B meetings, product launches, live demos, and industry interactions.

Blitz Exhibitions is organising the fair. They are working with the Telangana MSME Department, Telangana Food Processing Society, and Telangana Chefs Association. Vibrant India and HITEX are also event partners.

Industry icons participate in Food e-Fair 2025

Several leaders from diverse fields joined the launch. Guests included Padma Bhushan awardee and Indian badminton coach Pullela Gopichand, ICAR-IIMR Director Dr. Tara Satyavati, Nutrihub CEO Dr. J. Stanley, Millet Bank founder Vishala Reddy, and Pragati Group Chairman G.B.K. Rao.
