Fire breaks out in two coaches at Tirupati railway station, no casualties

Hyderabad: A fire broke out in two stationary train coaches at Tirupati railway station on Monday, sparking panic but causing no injuries.

The incident occurred during a track change operation when flames engulfed one coach each of the Ishar Express and Rayalaseema Express. Railway fire personnel responded swiftly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjoining compartments.

On spotting the fire, railway staff quickly detached the affected coaches from the rest of the trains, averting danger to passengers.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Officials have launched a probe into the incident.
