Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) urged citizens to switch off non-essential lights on March 28 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM as part of Earth Hour. The Earth Hour initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and collective climate action.
GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan called upon residents, institutions, and organisations to actively participate in the global movement. Moreover, he said small individual actions can create a larger impact.
