He made the remarks while campaigning in Sholingur in Ranipet district on Tuesday as part of the Assembly election campaign.
DMK Congress alliance victory predicted in Tamil Nadu
The DMK Congress alliance victory, Bhatti Vikramarka said, would come under the leadership of M. K. Stalin. He expressed confidence that Stalin would return to power with a strong mandate.
He criticised the Central government, alleging attempts to suppress Tamil culture, language, and rights. Therefore, he stressed that unity among secular forces remained essential to counter such trends.
He urged voters to strengthen Stalin’s leadership. He also said that Tamil Nadu politics continued to influence the national landscape.
DMK Congress alliance victory linked to social justice legacy
Bhatti Vikramarka described Tamil Nadu as more than a State. He said it represented a powerful ideological force rooted in social justice.
He acknowledged the contributions of leaders such as Periyar E. V. Ramasamy, C. N. Annadurai, and M. Karunanidhi. He said their efforts laid a strong foundation for progressive governance.
He also commended the people of Tamil Nadu for consistently defending secular values. Moreover, he said their political awareness set an example for the country.
Highlighting Telangana’s welfare schemes, he asked voters to reject divisive politics. Instead, he urged them to support inclusive governance.
“Rahul Gandhi’s message of love and Stalin’s development agenda have come together,” he said. He added that every vote in Tamil Nadu represented a democratic voice against divisive politics.
As part of the campaign, AICC observer and former MP Madhu Yashki Goud accompanied him. They toured Karikkal, Veeranattur, Ariyur, and Ayyapedu in the Sholingur constituency of Ranipet district.
