Hyderabad: District Education Officers (DEOs) across Telangana will meet in Hyderabad on July 30 for a full-day DEO conference to review ongoing and upcoming education initiatives.
The agenda includes scrutiny of new student enrolments, Aadhaar-linked student records (APAR, FRS), and multiple central schemes such as Samagra Shiksha, Nipun Bharat (FLN), NCF-aligned NAS and AXL assessments, and the Learning Improvement Programme (LIP).
State education officials will also assess readiness for the upcoming SSC board exams and review implementation of PM POSHAN and PM SHRI school upgrades. The meeting will cover rationalisation of teachers, proposals for new school establishments, and execution of RTE 12(1)(c) admissions.
Other focus areas include:
- Progress of the Vanamahotsavam tree-planting campaign
- Operations of open schools and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs)
- Status of Urban Residential Schools (URS), Bhavitha centres, and model schools
School Education Secretary Dr. Yogita Rana and Director of School Education Dr. Naveen Nicholas will lead the review.
