Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police urged motorists to activate indicators at least 30 metres before making a right or left turn. The advisory aimed to provide advance warnings and improve road safety.
The traffic police said early signalling helps drivers approaching from behind understand a vehicle’s intended movement. It also helps prevent sudden turns that can lead to collision accidents.
According to the advisory, motorists should give sufficient warning before changing direction. The department stressed that a simple indicator signal can improve safety for everyone using the road.
The message focused on advance signalling as an important road safety practice. Meanwhile, Cyberabad Traffic Police reminded motorists that responsible driving can help prevent avoidable accidents.

The department encouraged motorists to make indicator use a regular driving habit. Activating the signal before a turn gives approaching drivers more time to respond safely.
The advisory covered both right and left turns. Drivers were specifically asked to signal at least 30 metres before turning.
