Police explained that Bala Showreddy, a known offender with a rowdy sheet, had a long-standing rivalry with one Shareef. The deceased, Roshan Kumar, supported Shareef in the dispute and allegedly threatened Bala, which deepened the enmity between them. Consequently, Bala ordered a knife online and conspired with his associates Mahamood and Aditya to kill Roshan.

On November 5 evening, the trio called Roshan to the Jagadgirigutta bus stop. While Bala spoke with him, Mahamood restrained Roshan from behind. At the same time, Bala stabbed him multiple times in the chest, abdomen, and back. The attack happened in full public view, spreading panic among onlookers. Afterwards, the accused escaped on a Royal Enfield Bullet, leaving Roshan critically injured.

Meanwhile, locals shifted the victim to Medi-Tech Hospital, and later he was taken to Gandhi Hospital. However, he succumbed to injuries during treatment.
