CPI says socialist system will soon take root in India

Hyderabad: CPI State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday declared that India is moving toward a socialist system rooted in equality, brotherhood, and economic justice.

Addressing a meeting of the Janaseva Dal Rashtra Samithi, organised by Panjala Ramesh, he argued that socialism is the only credible solution to end inequality, caste bias, and the growing divide between the wealthy and low-income communities. He highlighted that many young people are adopting socialist ideals, drawing strength from revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh.

Khammam rally to spotlight youth-led socialism

Kunamneni announced that 15,000 young communists will march in Khammam on December 26. Youth and student groups inspired by Bhagat Singh will lead the rally, aiming to energise support for socialist ideals.

He also referenced the revival of communist movements across Europe and growing unity among leftist parties in Nepal. These developments, he said, signal a global shift back toward socialism.

Push to end corporate control and restore economic equity

The CPI leader strongly criticised the expanding influence of corporate entities over India’s economy. He insisted that the people must regain control over the means of production.

“Only fair distribution of economic resources can bring justice to those with limited means,” he said. He further added that constitutional rights are meaningful only when matched by equal access to national wealth, especially for marginalised groups.
