Congress slams KTR for inducting HYC founder Salman Khan into BRS

Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress attacked BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) for welcoming HYC founder Salman Khan into the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

The Congress posted a list of criminal cases against Salman Khan on its official X handle. The post accused KTR of supporting a POCSO case accused and demanded an explanation.

Party leaders said Salman Khan faced about 25 criminal cases. Many of them, they claimed, were filed when BRS ruled the state. They alleged he assaulted people, issued threats, and committed fraud.

Congress questions BRS moral standards

Congress leaders said KTR glorified a man with a criminal past. “Is this the moral standard of the BRS?” they asked.

The post sparked a war of words between the two parties. Congress described KTR’s action as proof of the BRS’s declining ethics.

BRS leaders have not responded so far.
