Hyderabad: In a moving gesture of compassion, Nalgonda District Collector Ila Tripathi extended support to a young girl, Nithya, from Agamothkur village in Madugulapalli mandal, who lost her parents and brother in a tragic drowning incident. The Collector personally met Nithya and assured her of full assistance for her future.
Collector Ila Tripathi extends support to orphaned Nithya in Nalgonda
Nithya had earlier lost her mother. Recently, her father and brothers drowned in a canal while performing a ritual, leaving her completely orphaned. Moved by her plight, Collector Tripathi met Nithya at the Vemulapalli Tahsildar’s office. He handed her a cheque of ₹5 lakh and encouraged her to continue her education with courage.
The Collector told officials to ensure that the girl received all necessary support, including continued access to education and welfare benefits. His humane response offered hope to the grieving child and underlined the importance of empathy in public service.
