CM Revanth to visit Delhi tomorrow for Telangana DCC appointments

Hyderabad: The Congress high command made the selection of District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents in Telangana, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh its top organisational priority. The party appointed 22 observers to supervise the process in Telangana.

AICC organisational general secretary K.C. Venugopal gave senior leaders the task of ensuring decisions remain free from any political pressure. The leadership also asked senior AICC members to handle each state’s selection process transparently.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Delhi again to discuss the DCC appointments. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will chair the meeting at the AICC headquarters at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Party leaders plan to finalise the list of district presidents during the discussion.

PCC chief Mahesh Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy will accompany Revanth Reddy. They plan to leave for Delhi this evening.

The AICC aims to announce the new DCC presidents by the end of the month. Many aspirants have already submitted applications for the district president posts.
