Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday reviewed the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document and the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, presenting a plan to build a ₹3 trillion economy by 2047.
During the meeting at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, Revanth stated that the document focuses on two core ideas—vision and strategy. He stressed the importance of transparent governance and warned that delays in policymaking weaken investor confidence. The government is preparing the document with expert support from ISB and NITI Aayog, while also gathering public input from lakhs of citizens.
Revanth emphasised the need to turn Hyderabad into a net-zero, pollution-free city. To achieve this, the state will move polluting industries out of the city. It will also convert areas inside the Outer Ring Road into a Core Urban Region. Meanwhile, the region between ORR and the Regional Ring Road will become a Peri-Urban manufacturing zone.

Telangana Rising 2047 strategy to divide state into three growth zones
The strategy divides the state into three regions—CORE, PURE, and RARE. Revanth explained that each will support specific growth areas to ensure balanced, inclusive development. This structure will guide economic and infrastructure planning across all sectors.
He added that the state has already started work on Outer Ring Road development zones. Moreover, the Hyderabad–Machilipatnam Greenfield Highway has secured central approval. Telangana is also pressing the Union government to support bullet train and highway projects.

In terms of air connectivity, four new airports are planned in Warangal, Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Ramagundam. These infrastructure projects aim to improve access and attract more investments into the state.
Revanth made it clear that Telangana does not measure its progress against neighbouring states. Instead, it sets its sights on competing with developed nations like China, Japan, Germany, Singapore, and South Korea. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering a modern, developed Telangana by honouring every public promise.
