Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy slammed the Centre for ignoring repeated appeals to supply urea according to the state’s farming needs. He accused Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay of being busy with “Modi bhajan” instead of standing by farmers.
The Chief Minister also targeted BRS MPs, saying they were absent in Parliament when Telangana’s urea crisis was discussed. “They show enthusiasm to quarrel in the streets, but why are they afraid to question Modi in Delhi? Is it fear or blind devotion?” Revanth asked.
CM lashes out on X, thanks Priyanka Gandhi for support
In a post on X, Revanth Reddy accused the Centre of adopting a negligent, discriminatory, and deceptive attitude towards Telangana farmers by withholding urea supplies. He thanked Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi for backing Telangana Congress MPs, who staged a protest in Parliament over the issue. Revanth said the Congress would continue to fight for farmers’ rights until Telangana received its fair share of urea.
