CM Revanth Reddy to inaugurate development works in Mulugu: Seethakka

Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women & Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya, popularly known as Seethakka, said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will soon visit Mulugu district. She said he would inaugurate completed Mulugu development works during the tour. The government will announce the visit schedule shortly.

Seethakka reviewed development programmes with district officials at the Collectorate on Monday. District Collector Borkade Hemant Sahadeo Rao, SP Sudheer Ramnath Kekan, DFO Vikas Meena and ITDA Project Officer Naveen Vatsal Toppo attended the meeting.

The minister directed officials to complete all ongoing works on schedule. She also asked the district administration to prepare for the monsoon season. According to her, officials should prevent a repeat of incidents witnessed in previous years.

Mulugu development works under review

Seethakka instructed Forest Department officials to distribute more saplings during the current monsoon. She also asked them to exceed the plantation targets. In addition, she directed officials to closely monitor the Godavari pipeline works planned to supply water to several tanks.

Meanwhile, the minister asked authorities to ensure an adequate supply of urea for farmers. She also directed officials to deploy additional staff and complete the land survey process without delay.

Seethakka said all departments should work together to make Mulugu a leading district in the state. She instructed officials to complete the pending Medaram development works within 10 days.

The minister said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would soon visit Medaram and Mulugu. She added that the Panchayat Raj Department had launched development works worth ₹6,000 crore in the district. According to her, the government will finalise the Chief Minister’s tour schedule shortly.

Additional Collectors Mahender G. and Sampath Rao, RDO Krishnaveni, DRO Ravi Kumar, Panchayat Raj Director Baireddy Bhagavan Reddy, District Library Chairman Bhanoth Ravichander, Market Committee Chairperson Rega Kalyani, Municipal Chairperson Chintanippula Chandrakala Bikshapathi and other officials attended the review meeting.
