Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had received a rare international honour after the Harvard Kennedy School invited him to attend and address its first-ever artificial intelligence summit as the chief guest. Significantly, he was the only invitee from India. He received the invitation for the global-level conference.
The invitation came during Revanth Reddy’s ongoing visit to the United States. On the final day of his schedule at Harvard University, the Chief Minister met representatives of several international organisations. Additionally, he met students from multiple schools within the university.
He also interacted with students and alumni from leading institutions such as MIT and Columbia University, according to officials.
Revanth Reddy’s Harvard interactions focused on development and governance
During these meetings, the Chief Minister discussed leadership, achieving success in public life, economic growth, development models and sustainability. He also spoke at length on environmental protection, farmer welfare and the empowerment of women and youth, officials said.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy was scheduled to return to Telangana early on Monday. Later in the day, he was expected to attend the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial programme organised by the Communist Party of India in Hyderabad.
Sources said the Chief Minister was also likely to meet ministers and senior party leaders on the same day, depending on availability. Moreover, discussions on upcoming municipal elections were expected to figure prominently during the meetings.
