CM Revanth helps accident victim walk again with artificial legs

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended medical and financial assistance to Gundeti Rahul, a double amputee, enabling him to regain mobility through artificial limbs.

Rahul, a native of Palakurthi village in Damera mandal, Warangal district, lost both legs in a tragic train accident on November 2, 2024. While en route to Rajasthan, unidentified miscreants pushed him off a moving train, resulting in critical injuries that led to bilateral amputation.

After learning of Rahul’s condition, the Chief Minister ensured he received prompt medical treatment through the CM Relief Fund. The government also facilitated the fitting of artificial limbs, helping him resume daily activities and regain confidence.

Rahul, now mobile and recovering, met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday. Accompanied by his family, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely intervention and life-changing support. He credited the Chief Minister with giving him a second chance at life.

“This assistance helped me walk again and live independently,” Rahul told the CM, thanking him for standing by his side in a time of crisis.
