Hyderabad: Labour and Employment Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Friday announced that Chennur is on track to become a model municipality in Telangana. ₹50 crore worth of development projects are nearing completion.
During a morning walk in Chennur town, Dr. Vivek reviewed local infrastructure progress and interacted with residents. He assured that the Congress government is prioritising essential services like drinking water and sanitation. Additionally, they are committed to balanced development in both rural and urban areas.
The Minister said the government’s goal is to ensure no region is neglected. They aim for all sectors to benefit equally from its policies.
In preparation for the upcoming local body elections, Dr. Vivek is touring Mancherial district. At his Chennur camp office, he met with party cadres and urged them to stay united. He encouraged them to work together to secure victories for Congress-backed candidates. He said strong local wins will help channel more benefits to the people.
