Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Chanchalguda Santoshnagar steel flyover in Hyderabad on Thursday, adding a new four-lane flyover to the city’s road infrastructure.
The steel flyover was constructed at a cost of ₹620 crore. The four-lane structure stretches for 3.2 km and measures 16.6 metres in width.
Several ministers, MPs and other elected representatives attended the inauguration ceremony. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin were present at the event.
MPs Asaduddin Owaisi, Vem Narender Reddy, Anil Kumar Yadav and Raghuveer Reddy also attended the programme. In addition, MLAs, MLCs and corporation chairpersons participated in the inauguration.
Chanchalguda Santoshnagar steel flyover spans 3.2 km
The steel flyover has four lanes and covers a total distance of 3.2 km. Moreover, the structure has a width of 16.6 metres.
The government spent ₹620 crore on the construction of the flyover. Revanth Reddy formally opened the structure on Thursday in the presence of ministers and other public representatives.
