BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations to be held in Elkathurthy on April 27

HYDERABAD: The BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations will take place on April 27 in Elkathurthy, Warangal district, marking 25 years of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Party Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) visited the venue today to review preparations.

Speaking to the media, KTR described the BRS as a “people’s garage,” a place where citizens approach the party to seek solutions to their problems. He stated that under the leadership of party founder K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Telangana’s identity had been significantly elevated.

Extensive arrangements have been made for the event, including parking facilities for 40,000 vehicles. One million water bottles and one million packets of lassi will be distributed to attendees. Medical teams comprising 100 doctors will be stationed throughout the venue.

To ensure uninterrupted power supply, especially in the event of outages, 200 generators have been arranged. KTR remarked that this would be the largest public gathering in the history of the BRS, with participants expected from across the state.

He also announced that on April 27, the party flag would be hoisted in all 12,796 gram panchayats of Telangana, after which party workers would proceed towards Elkathurthy. KTR called upon the government to continue its support until the successful completion of the event.

During the visit, KTR and other party leaders paid tribute to the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam by observing two minutes of silence.
