Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) postponed its state executive meeting and Legislature Party (LP) meeting from December 19 to December 21, the party announced on Tuesday.
The party took the decision as Parliament sessions end on December 19. This move allows BRS Members of Parliament to attend the meetings without scheduling conflicts.
BRS president and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao will chair the state executive meeting on December 21 at Telangana Bhavan. The party confirmed participation from senior leaders.
BRS state executive meeting set for December 21
The party said Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly and Members of the Legislative Council will attend the meeting. Party sources said K Chandrashekar Rao will lead detailed discussions on key political and organisational issues.
Leaders will raise concerns over the Congress government’s handling of Krishna and Godavari river water issues. The meeting will also review organisational decisions, party strategy and future action plans.
In addition, leaders may outline plans for public movements in the coming days. The meeting will shape the party’s political and organisational direction in the near future.
