BRS has lost public trust in Telangana: Komatireddy

Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday said that the BRS party has completely lost public trust in Telangana. He made the remarks while campaigning in Jubilee Hills constituency for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav, accompanied by local party leaders.

Venkat Reddy alleged that the people of Telangana could no longer tolerate the BRS party’s exploitation, which is why they handed power to the Congress. He expressed confidence that Congress would also win Jubilee Hills, dismissing claims of a class divide in the constituency.

The minister recalled that emotional sentiment had no impact in the recent Cantonment by-election. He said former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao targeting their candidate was itself a sign of Congress’s growing strength.

Addressing BRS accusations, Venkat Reddy challenged the party to reveal how many criminal cases were filed against Naveen Yadav during BRS’s 10-year rule if he was truly a rowdy. He said the image of Jubilee Hills as a ‘class’ constituency was misleading, calling it a mass-dominated area.
