Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders have lodged a police complaint against iDream Media, its anchor Soumya Reddy, and advocate Arun Kumar at Banjara Hills police station, accusing them of making false and insulting remarks against party president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in connection with the phone tapping case.

Complainants including BRS leaders C. Kishan Reddy, Vasudeva Reddy, B. Ramana Murthy, Gandhi Naik, among others, alleged that Arun Kumar levelled baseless and misleading allegations during an interview aired on June 25. They further claimed that anchor Soumya Reddy and the channel management uploaded the content without verifying its authenticity.

According to the complaint, the interview was intended to deliberately damage the reputation of KCR and the BRS. The leaders demanded immediate legal action on the matter.
