BRS gears up for grand silver jubilee rally at Warangal

HYDERABAD: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its formation, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is organising a grand silver jubilee celebration. As part of the event, a massive public meeting will be held on Sunday, 27 April, on the outskirts of Elkathurthy village in Warangal district, with all preparations now completed.

The party leadership is making extensive efforts to ensure the participation of lakhs of people, including party workers, to demonstrate its public strength. A total of 1,213 acres of land has been acquired for the meeting, with 154 acres allocated for the main venue and the remainder reserved for parking and other logistical arrangements.

The main stage has been designed with seating for 500 leaders, while a separate stage has been set up for cultural programmes. It is estimated that around 50,000 vehicles, including RTC buses, private cars, and tractors, will arrive at the venue. Approximately 1,055 acres have been designated for parking facilities.

Over one lakh chairs have been arranged for attendees. To ensure clear visibility of party chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), 23 large LED screens measuring 20 by 50 feet each have been installed, along with a powerful sound system to cover the vast area.

Arrangements include the distribution of 10 lakh water bottles and 16 lakh snack packets to ensure the comfort of the attendees. Medical facilities at the venue include six ambulances, 12 medical camps, and 1,200 temporary toilets. Additionally, 2,000 volunteers will be deployed to manage parking operations and assist in crowd control.
