Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is preparing to mark its 25th anniversary with grand celebrations in Warangal on 27 April. With a massive budget of several crores of rupees, the event is expected to become one of the largest political gatherings in Telangana.
The celebrations are being organised on a sprawling 200-acre venue near Elkathurthy, and extensive arrangements are in full swing. Parking facilities are being arranged across 1,200 acres to accommodate the large influx of vehicles.
The organisers are aiming to welcome nearly 10 lakh attendees. To manage the crowd efficiently, around 2,000 volunteers will be deployed, and every attendee will be provided with bottled water and buttermilk packets for comfort.
Senior BRS leaders, including working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), former MP Kavitha, and other former ministers, are personally overseeing preparations to ensure the BRS 25th anniversary celebrations proceed smoothly. Local TRS (BRS) leaders are actively engaged in coordinating the final arrangements.
The BRS 25th anniversary is seen as a critical opportunity for the party to rejuvenate its political strength following its defeat in the recent elections. Through this massive event, the party aims to reassert its presence among the public and rebuild its momentum ahead of upcoming local body elections.
Party spokespersons, former ministers, MPs, and grassroots leaders are intensifying mobilisation efforts to ensure the success of the rally. The celebrations are considered crucial for restoring public trust and strengthening the party’s base.
Celebrating 25 years of its journey, the BRS aims to make the BRS 25th anniversary celebrations a historic event in Telangana’s political history, symbolising renewal and future direction.
