Hyderabad: The BJP has announced a large-scale protest named “People’s Betrayal Day – Maha Dharna” to be held on December 7 at Indira Park, Hyderabad. The agitation targets the Congress government for what the party termed two years of “false promises, debt, and administrative failure.”
In a statement on Friday, BJP leaders said the Congress regime had failed to deliver on crop loan waivers, job guarantees, welfare schemes, and civic reforms. These were promised during its campaign.

The protest, scheduled to begin at 9 am, will see participation from thousands of BJP workers. Participants include farmers, unemployed youth, women, older citizens, and low-income groups.
BJP leaders alleged that the government had “pushed the state into debt and chaos.” They accused it of betraying the hopes of farmers, young people seeking jobs, older residents, and economically disadvantaged households.
Calling on people to join the protest, the party said, “The public’s voice must be heard. The Congress can no longer hide behind hollow guarantees.”
