Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday officially accepted the resignation of Telangana MLA T. Raja Singh from the party, citing a mismatch with the party’s ideology and functioning.
In a letter dated July 11, 2025, National General Secretary Arun Singh informed Singh that his resignation, earlier submitted to BJP Telangana President G. Kishan Reddy, had been reviewed by the party’s national leadership.
The letter stated that the reasons cited in Raja Singh’s resignation letter were found to be irrelevant and not aligned with the functioning, ideology, or principles of the BJP. Singh’s resignation was accepted with immediate effect on the direction of BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda.
The development follows Raja Singh’s recent communication dated June 30, 2025. His political future remains a subject of speculation, with no immediate comment from the MLA himself.
