₹3 crore development works launched in Banjara Hills by Mayor Vijayalakshmi

Hyderabad: Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi on Thursday launched development works worth ₹3 crore in the Banjara Hills division. The areas covered include NBTC Nagar, Vengal Rao Building, and Mithila Nagar.

She thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for sanctioning funds to boost civic infrastructure in the area. The mayor stated that the Telangana government is giving full support to urban development projects across Greater Hyderabad. This includes efforts in Banjara Hills.

Later, she held a review meeting at her camp office with officials from GHMC, the Water Works department, and the Electrical department. During the session, Vijayalakshmi instructed officials to fast-track both newly launched and ongoing works in the division.

She stressed that pending projects must be completed on a war footing to ensure timely delivery of promised civic upgrades.
