Armed Reserve plays key role in policing, says CP Sajjanar

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar on Saturday said that the Armed Reserve personnel play a vital role in maintaining law and order. He was addressing the Ceremonial Parade at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) headquarters in Petlaburj.

Receiving the guard of honour, Sajjanar praised the CAR wing for its longstanding reputation and discipline. He commended the personnel for their commitment and noted that police work stands apart in its responsibilities and challenges.

Sajjanar urges discipline, health focus, and skill-building

The Commissioner advised all police personnel to maintain discipline and take responsibility in their roles. He encouraged them to prioritise family and stay physically fit, urging daily exercise as a routine practice.

He also warned against bad habits and emphasised the importance of time management. “Use your time to acquire new skills and adapt to evolving trends in policing,” he told the personnel.

A total of 1,044 members of the CAR wing took part in the parade. Units including the City Security Guard, Swift Women Action Team, Quick Reaction Team, and City Rapid Action Force also participated.

After the parade, Sajjanar interacted directly with the AR personnel. He reviewed their performance and listened to their concerns. In response to issues raised, he promised timely solutions.
