As part of the expansion in healthcare and education, CM Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for a government medical college and hostel, valued at Rs 130 crore. He also initiated the construction of the Young India Integrated Residential Schools complex, which has been allocated Rs 200 crore.

Major Healthcare and Infrastructure Projects

Further strengthening the healthcare sector, the Chief Minister commenced the construction of a government nursing college with an allocation of Rs 26 crore, along with a 100-bed hospital unit worth Rs 40 crore.

Infrastructure received a significant push with Rs 296 crore sanctioned for road projects, specifically for the Tunkimetta-Narayanpet and Kothakonda-Maddur routes. Women Empowerment Initiatives

Highlighting the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment, CM Revanth Reddy noted that 6.7 million women are part of various self-help groups (SHGs) in the state.

Announcing a new welfare initiative, he declared that each woman associated with SHGs would receive two quality sarees annually, with a total budget of Rs 1,000 crore allocated for the program.

Additionally, he reiterated the administration’s goal of supporting one million women in achieving financial independence. Efforts are being made to boost women entrepreneurship by providing marketing opportunities at Shilparamam and other government-backed platforms.

Emphasis on Grassroots Development

CM Revanth Reddy also urged women’s groups to take active roles in managing rural schools, ensuring efficient administration and maintenance. He stressed that education infrastructure should be upheld with the same reverence as religious institutions, reinforcing the government’s focus on grassroots development and community-led progress.
