Parks, roads, drainage, and civic amenities underway
In Srinivas Nagar, they opened a Hindu crematorium and the Gandhi Bal Vihar Park. In Old Ramachandrapuram, they flagged off the construction of a meat market and a beautification drive for Rayasamudram Lake. This includes redirection of sewage inflows away from the water body.
Multiple colonies will also see major upgrades. These include new CC roads, underground and open drains, additional community halls, a women’s federation building, and a new theme park.
Leaders said the works will bring visible improvements to infrastructure in Ramachandrapuram and directly benefit residents. They emphasised that the projects aim to raise living standards and address long-standing civic needs.
