PEDDAPALLI: A 23-year-old youth allegedly attempted to rape a five-year-old girl in Rakhaldevpalli village of Eligedu mandal in Peddapalli district.
According to the police, the incident occurred when the child was alone at home. Taking advantage of the situation, the youth allegedly tried to assault her. However, the girl began screaming, prompting the accused to flee the scene.
Following a complaint lodged by the girl’s parents, police registered a case and began the investigation.
