Hyderabad: Two engineering students died after a speeding car lost control and rammed into a metro pillar in the limits of Medipalli Police Station on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night.
According to police, the car was travelling at high speed when the driver lost control. As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into Metro Pillar No. 97 with great force. At the time of the accident, eight students were travelling in the car.
Consequently, Sai Varun and Nikhil, both engineering students from Wanaparthy district, died on the spot. The severe impact completely crushed the car, thereby underlining the seriousness of the crash.
