HYDERABAD: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) has unveiled a strategic plan to introduce foundation courses aimed at preparing students for prestigious competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET, UPSC, CLAT, and CUET. This initiative is set to commence from Class 8 in the upcoming academic year.
Historically, students from the Gowlidoddi and Karimnagar Centre of Excellence (CoE) institutions have achieved commendable ranks in engineering and medical entrance exams. Building on this success, TSWREIS plans to extend similar foundation courses to ten additional colleges across the state. The objective is to equip students from marginalized communities with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in highly competitive examinations.
Dr. V.S. Alagu Varshini, the Secretary of TSWREIS, has been instrumental in formulating this plan. The initiative aims to provide structured and comprehensive training to students, enabling them to compete effectively on national platforms. The program will involve experienced educators who will deliver specialized coaching tailored to the requirements of each competitive examination.
This proactive approach by TSWREIS underscores the commitment to fostering academic excellence and creating equitable opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. By initiating these foundation courses from Class 8, the society aims to build a robust academic foundation, thereby enhancing the prospects of students in securing admissions to premier institutions and succeeding in various competitive fields.
